I am in a lighter splint now, so I can at least type one finger style! (Can’t type for long, but it’s something.) One thing, of many, that this experience [of breaking my wrist] has taught me is that I need to be kinder and more caring to my body.
Every day now that the cast is off, I have to massage my right arm and fingers for several minutes, three times a day to reduce the edema. As I’ve been doing that, I’ve realized that my dominant right arm is how I am able to write, sign things, teach, journal, cook, etc.
It is my envoy and my voice.
I appreciate that so much more now.

Take care, dear hearts. Will start to blog more soon.
