Becoming Bulletproof

July 23, 2017

I’ve believed I am not enough.

But here’s the thing: it’s not true.

It’s a lie. It’s a fabrication. It’s a fallacy. It’s a big hoax.

It’s propaganda of the worst sort.

We are enough. We always were. We always will be. … More Becoming Bulletproof

The Gem and the Robe

August 18, 2012

“It’s your mind that creates the world.” ~ Buddha In Buddhism we base our faith upon something called “actual proof.”  In other words, there is no such thing as blind faith — or the belief in something that offers no proof it actually works.  We are certain that we will see changes and benefits when … More The Gem and the Robe

End of the decade Tarot challenge. Day 9. Q for December 9. Where or how can I rest or re-prioritize my energy? The Wheel of Fortune, The Fool, and for fun, the Cosmic Cat Wisdom card of Self-confidence (stand your ground). The energy of these cards seem to imply the embrace of change as the wheel turns, the energy of Jupiter (which is up right now very strongly in my chart), and new beginnings, confidence, the need to erect solid boundaries, and look forward. The Astrology right now is forward moving. We're moving into Aquarius. It's pointless to cling to what was. It is passing into the ether. So, what's needed is to use my energy for forward motion, new projects, self-care, and creativity. These changes are all good. So, buckle up, Buttercup. Time to go! #endofthedecadetarotchallenge #lovetarot #thecrowtarotdeck #cosmiccatwisdomcards #jupiter #fullmooningemini #mymoonisingemini

End of the decade Tarot challenge. Day 8. For December 8th. Q: What helps my mind, body, and heart today? Choose three cards. Hmmm. First, the ace of Pentacles; then, the devil; then the 4 of Pentacles. According to Michelle Tea in Modern Tarot, the ace comes when you need to be giving and kind to your body. It's a positive, big opportunity in the offing that will bear big fruit. The devil card encourages soul searching and rooting out any lies you may be believing. Liberate yourself from anything that's holding you hostage. Finally, the 4 of Pentacles, which advises trust in the universe! Relax your grip on what's yours. Splurge. Enjoy your life. #endofthedecadetarotchallenge #bodymindheart #selfcare
Christening my Cosmic Cat Wisdom cards tonight. They just arrived. Their first message for me? Self-care. How astonishingly perfect, given my end of the semester weariness. "The truth is you can only care for others if you care for yourself." Thanks, Will Robinson, for reminding me of the danger of overdoing for others at the expense of my own health. #cosmiccatwisdomcards #diabetes #downtime
