It’s Dia de los Muertos.
The day when the veil between the living and the dead is most thin.
I’m lighting a candle for Daddy, Mari, Melissa, Gina Nichole, my sister, Roxanne, and all my other relatives and friends who’ve crossed the river of death.
My prayers also go out to all the precious four-legged companions who’ve graced my life and who are now waiting for me on the other side. Especially Miss Clementine, Snowberry, Thelma & Louise, Boo-cat, and Stanfield.
You live in all the rooms of my heart. I still miss the feel of your soft bodies brushing up against my calves and feet.

Wishing you peace on this day of remembrance.
