Sending Light In Sandy’s Wake

Let thy light shine, then, in dark places. ~ Edgar Cayce

Truly, it is in the darkness that one finds the light, so when we are in sorrow, then this light is nearest of all to us. ~ Meister Eckhart

Thinking this morning of all those whose lives have been upended by Hurricane Sandy — not just here in the U.S. — but in Cuba, Haiti…

May you be aided by the benevolent spirit of community, love, and kindness.

Know that worldwide prayer is focused on your well-being and safety.

May all sentient beings be safe from harm.

May all lost animals find their way back to their owners.

Belongings can be replaced.  Life cannot, and is therefore, precious.

For those we lost, may you find your way quickly across the river of death, into the arms of waiting angels.

In these divisive times, a little kindness goes a long way.
